Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Food & Beverage at Vinpearl, which is the leading hospitality brand in Vietnam with a diversified mix of luxury and family resorts, convention centers, restaurants and spas in Vietnam's top destinations.

This position is responsible for managing all F&B and Kitchen operations and delivering an excellent guest experience. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Quality and efficiency control and assessment:

  • Plan control: responsible for reviewing the implementation plans by the department, as well as controlling the deployment of implementation plans and assessing the results;
  • Assets and costs control: responsible for reviewing budget execution and assessing performance of the department;
  • Compliance control: Review the specialized inspection for the department, review and rectify disadvantages according to compliance checklists;
  • Service quality control: Inspection of manners, appearance, communication and behavior of employees; 
  • Development of plans, control of the service of significant events / important delegations; Inspect and control the prescribed processes on Occupational Safety and Health & Fire Prevention Safety, ensuring service quality is met; Handling tasks for F&B, Kitchen per Job Scope Checklist; Handling problems, incidents and reporting to superiors if unable to resolve.

2. Promotion for the implementation of plans, improving the quality and efficiency: promote plans timely and bringing the best performance / control solutions when a risk of delay emerges & resolve the situation and implementing approved measures to optimize revenue & costs.

3. Support: Coordinate with relevant Departments to bring about the best quality of service, product quality or to handle arising problems, arrange operation personnel, control costs (quickly and timely resolve problems to ensure proper operation).

4. High-class service Research and Development: implement the research and development for products and service standards; training current staff, developing and delivering high-class services. Besides, Director of F&B participates in, motivates, and controls the property-wide experience excellence projects and organize the quality of services and products’ inspection of the properties and continuously improving the quality.
